Where can I find minimum tensile strength for materials?

Most spring materials are defined in ASTM specifications. In general, tensile strength varies with wire diameter. The specifications typically include a table that lists allowable tensile strength ranges for various wire diameter ranges. A list of popular material types and the corresponding ASTM specification is given to the right.
